Well I am going to start this week off with a few words that I don’t like to use. In fact, they are a few words that I don’t use often, well at least not in the order that I’m about to use them in. I was wrong. There I said it, surprisingly, I’m still breathing after that. LOL
I’m sure that you’d like to know what I was wrong about. So, I guess now’s as good of time as any to tell ya. I didn’t want to see the remake of The Nightmare on Elm St because I was disgusted by the fact that they didn’t use Robert Englund as Freddy Krueger. I didn’t think that anyone else could ever play Freddy as good as Robert. Turns out that I was wrong. Not sure what the guys name was, but he did a great fucking job. In fact, he did a fucking awesome job.
All and all the remake is fucking amazing. It seemed to be some what darker than the original and I liked that. I must admit that I have a dark and sadistic side that gets off on horror movies. Either way, the movie fucking rocked. If you haven’t seen it yet you have to get the DVD!!!! The entire movie stayed true to the original except for one small detail. Now, not many people would even notice this detail, but I sure as hell did. In fact it’s a detail that both Nightmare on Elm St and Friday the 13th shared.
There was absolutely no tits what so ever. I know, I know, that makes me sound like a pervert, but that isn’t even remotely my reason for being upset by the lack of tits in the movie. In fact it bothers me because of the fact that every single one of the original Nightmare on Elm St movies had tits. It was like a staple. Sure, the nudity doesn’t make or break the movie; however, tits are just as expected as Freddy’s glove by every die hard Nightmare on Elm St fan. Oh well, such is life…. Maybe that’s just a sign of the fact that times are changing and even though they made an awesome remake of a classic film the 80’s horror movies really are done.
Other than the couple hours that I spent watching Nightmare on Elm St all I have been doing is running around going crazy trying to help everyone around me get everything they need done. You know, I don’t mind helping my friends I really don’t. Hell, I actually enjoy it, it’s a great way to hang out and have fun while working. But there comes a time when it gets to be too much. I don’t think I have reached that point yet, but there are a few people in my life that just might here the word “NO” next time they ask for help. I get pissed by the lack of respect and the inability to say thank you and the way that when I need help some of these people are no where to be seen.
Oh well, enough bitching. LOL This past weekend, Andy, who is a very good friend of mine turned me onto something new that I enjoyed a whole fucking bunch. He took me to an auction and it was a blast. We bought a box truck load of stuff Saturday. The auction was just plain good old fashion fun. It also may turn into a new way for me to make some extra cash too. There was a lot of really great deals. I was looking at this stuff watching how everything worked thinking… Damn, I could make a killing reselling this shit on eBay. So I think that maybe I just found myself a new hobby thanks to Andy.
As we all know this weekend is Halloween. I am so fucking excited I can’t even explain it. I love Halloween. Well, except for one small detail. It seems that as the years pass everyone wants to make Halloween cute, and that just pisses me off. Halloween is meant to be cute, its meant to be scary and demonic. Oh well, yet again such is life. I know damn well that Princess Jezabel’s costume is horrifying and disgusting. Her and I are a matching set. I’m Freddy Krueger and she is one of the sweet little girls that sings 1,2 Freddy’s coming for you… and so on. We got a beautiful dress then took a knife to it and covered her in blood. It looks fucking awesome. After Halloween I will get some pics up for you to see. :D
Just real quick I want to let everyone know that next week when you are checking out the weekly updates, the site is going to look completely different. It has taken a few months, but the over haul is almost finished and I for one am excited to have it up and running.
