November 25th
When I reflect back on this past week the first words that come to mind are, “Holy fucking shit!” The week started off with me putting out about 400 fliers advertising my site and was wild and crazy from there. I headed into Morgantown and was treated like royalty. Hmm…. maybe it’s the royal treatment that gives me my arrogant attitude. Nah, can’t be…. I am just that damn good. LMFAO
Seriously though, I got to the Hilton at around 1:00 I think. Anyway, it was giving me just enough time to shower, do hair removal, tan and take about an hour nap before being chauffeured from one autograph signing to the next. We first headed out to Superior Ford where I was greeted by fans that had already been lined up for pictures and autographs. It wasn’t until about an hour into it that I got to breathe and relax for a couple minutes.
Even though I am a Nissan man, I must admit that the guys at the Ford dealership treat me good, damn good. The last time I was there I was given the keys to a 2010 Shelby Cobra GT 500. Hell, I’m still bragging about that one. Since then, the price of restoring my 300zx has practically tripled when it comes to the engine and performance parts. I doubt I’ll hit 500HP but I think over 300HP is going to be a given. LOL Thank god for Randy at the Punxy Auto Clinic for helping with that one.
Either way, back to MoTown. After spending a few hours at Superior Ford with the fans I was ushered back out to the car and taken to Sidelines Bar and Grill. After talking with and meeting people I had some damn good wings and had a damn good time. For being a campus bar it was a lot of fun. The bar of the night though was our next stop. Rock Forge Inn is just a small biker bar with some of the nicest people you could ever meet. I think I took pictures with everyone there and then some. LOL The owners of both places are great.
Rock Forge is a great example of how people are misunderstood in my opinion. It’s a biker bar plain and simple. Just a hole in the wall biker bar that is always packed. Most people think, oh shit I can’t go there. Well, I’d just like to say bullshit. The bikers there are just down to earth and want have fun, and that’s what they do. For Christ sake the last time I was there I scared the shit out of the one guy with a fucking rubber snake. I was told he was terrified, so I just had to mess with him. I took a rubber snake curled it up in my hand and then let it jump out at his face. I thought he was going to shit his pants and so did everyone else. LOL Turns out that everyone had been fucking with him since that night, which according to most people would have sealed my fate knowing that I was the cause of a biker being tortured with no sign of mercy what so ever.
As soon as I walked in, I was expecting to get fucked with due to what I had did last time, but just the exact opposite happened. I was welcomed in with open arms. Hell, the biker that was tortured at my expense offered to buy me a drink if I would let him hold Jezabel so that he could over come his fear of snakes. Obviously I turned the drink down, but he was the first in a packed house to hold Jezabel and get his picture taken.
So now its around midnight or a little later and let me tell you, this is a great fucking job and one helluva fun exciting life, but this shit is exhausting after about 8 hours straight. I was taken back to the hotel and enjoyed a little Nick at night before jumping in the shower and heading to bed. Show day was about to begin all too early. I had two radio spots first thing in the morning. So, up by seven devour some breakfast and off to the WKKW Radio Station.
Between both stations, 1440 WJAR AM with Kay Murray and Jim Stallings; as well as WKKW 97.9 FM with Big John and Company, I had a total of about 45 minutes of live air time, which from what I was told is unheard of from those two stations. Both stations were a blast! About five minutes into the first interview the host had to turn the delay on just in case my mouth got out of hand. I’m still not sure why the fuck they thought my mouth could act the fuck up though. LOL
Actually, before we get that far into the morning, let me paint you a better picture. The breakfast I had mentioned devouring, I had to devour on the way to the radio station. I had over slept, which is entirely my fault so at first I didn’t think I was going to have time to enjoy breakfast at the Hilton. So I’m busting ass to get showered and dressed in time to go. I get to the lobby and my ride isn’t there. Now I’m a little concerned because Jeff is usually on time and at this point he is already late. So, I’m setting there waiting, looking over at the breakfast bar trying to figure out if I have time or not. Just as I assumed I did, in comes Jeff, thankfully he gave me a few minutes to grab something to go.
So far nothing too bad, but since we were behind there was no time to stop anywhere. Some people can’t live without their morning coffee and well, I’m not one of them. LOL I will however, kill with out my morning Mountain Dew, which we didn’t have time to stop for.
Now, I’m really not a diva, but I did have to take advantage of not being able to stop for my soda and ride Jeff all morning until we did get to stop. I turned the whole thing into one helluva funny bit on the AM station and then turned around and called Jeff out again on the FM station and made him get on the air and explain to the entire listening area why he couldn’t stop to get Deven Fucking Michaels a damn bottle of soda on the way to the hotel to pick me up. LMFAO
Anyway, I shared the radio spot light with Karen from Mylan Park. Karen is a great lady, but you could tell that she was just a little nervous being on the radio, she started to lighten up a little by the time we got to FM though. Hell, at one point she started playfully smacking me around, and I won’t lie about it, I kinda liked it. I think the best part about the FM station was this cute young lady by the name of Lauren. With a face and a body like hers, I think she should do TV and not radio, but hey that’s just my opinion. Obviously she likes what she is doing.
Lauren was just adorable though. She was slightly nervous and intimidated by me for some reason. After we left the studio I heard her talking about how she couldn’t tell when I was being sarcastic or when I was being serious so she tried to keep quiet. Lauren was just cute because you could tell that she was nervous. Hell, I just hope next time I’m in studio she lightens up and has a little more fun. Just so you know Lauren the snake bites, I just nibble. LMFAO!!!!!!
As always, Dave and Jeff put on a great show!!!! A few hundred screaming fans were in attendance and believe me when I say screaming, I mean screaming. They may have paid for the whole seat but they only used the edge of it!!! I wrestled Lord Zoltan and, as expected, I delivered the DDT in front of all in attendance. I held him up and waited for the crowd to tell me what they wanted. Once they reached the point that they couldn’t get any louder I slammed Zoltans head in to the canvas with a sickening thud that made the fans jump to their feet. I grabbed my ominous green bag and gave the fans exactly what they wanted. I pulled Jezabel out and put her all over Zoltan’s manager as Zoltan cried and ran from the ring like the bitch that he is.
Hacksaw Jim Duggan was the main event on the show and the crowd loved him. I have met and shared the locker room with many of the biggest names in this business and it still amazes me. Each time you are in the locker room with a legend you just have to take a minute to set back and be in awe of a childhood hero. Jim and I talked after my match with Zoltan.
I was just relaxing after the match when Jim walked up to me and told me that I did a great job. I thanked him for the kind words and finished changing. Once I was finished I went over to him so he could give me his honest critique of my match. I was very pleasantly surprised by what he had to say. He told me that I looked good, damn good. He said I showed the confidence of a man that has spent a life time in the ring. He said that my entrance was excellent and my confidence and charisma were off the charts.
So, obviously after hearing all of that I wanted to know what he thought I should do next. After all the man is a legend so I wanted his brutal thoughts and opinions. He put wrestling for Vince and the WWE in perspective for me. He flat out told me that only about 110 people have WWE contracts. The odds of getting the sought after contract is basically astronomical. Then he proceeded to give me advice on how to get the contract that I want. He basically told me that I have everything that it takes I just need to make sure that Vince and the WWE see it. He said the only thing I am missing is the right place and the right time.
Not wanting to leave it at that I kept talking and listening and then Jim graciously gave me the info and the knowledge on who to contact and how to contact them. He told me that I’m up to bat and it is up to me after talking to him if I swing like a man or freeze up and never know what I could have been. The conversation between Jim and I solidified that come January I am going to be making a balls to the walls effort to get my ass seen and known by the right people. Damn it, I am going to swing and hit a home fucking run!!!!
Before I go I want to wish each and everyone of you a Happy Thanksgiving. Make sure you take the time to remember who and what you are thankful for. I know I am personally thankful for great friends, a wonderful family and most importantly to me I am thankful for having the greatest fans in the world and an unbelievable support system. It is because of my fans, family, and friends that I will make it to the top of this business. Hell, this is the truth section so lets not beat around the bush. I consider you the fans to be my extend family, you guys are the best, I am also extremely thankful for all of the guys that came before me to make it possible and pave the way for me to have the job of my dreams!!!!!
Just one last thank you to everyone that came out to the Mylan Park for on helluva show!!!!! I can’t wait to be back!!!!!
Until next time,
