June 23rd

As I type this it is a very hot June afternoon.  So much so that I am sweating in places that I didn’t know I had places.  LMAO  Either way, as I’m sure of you all know this past week was Father’s Day.  My little Princess had a fun filled day planned out for me.  She got me breakfast, then we went to the lake fishing, there was some swimming and hiking thrown in there as well.  Hell, I even caught two of the nicest fish that I have caught in a long time.

Anyway, Princess Jezabel and I had a great day.  I truly do have a very wonderful daughter.  I have a closer relationship with Jezabel than I think I do anyone else.  Her and are inseparable, I would do anything for my little girl.  In fact, it is based off of what her and I discussed on Father’s Day that I am embarking on the final few miles of a journey that I started many, many years ago.

Speaking of said journey, right now I am setting in West Virginia.  I am going a little later this week, more than likely Saturday, to get more ink.  Yeah, yeah, I know some of you think I have enough tattoos, but well I don’t agree.  LOL  Anyway, after I get my new ink I am going to be getting into my Stealth and making quite possibly one of the most important road trips of my life.  My journey is not a new one, but for the first time in my life I truly feel and believe that I am almost finished with this journey.  I am, however, sorry to say that, that is all of the information that I will be giving you until next week, sorry.  This is 1,200 miles that I have to make on my own for now.  Don’t worry though, you will hear or rather read all about it next week.

Backing up a bit, I hope that all of the Father’s out there had a great Father’s Day and that everyone did whatever they could to make their Father’s feel like kings on Father’s Day.  We often take our parents for granted and that is a horrible thing to do. When it is all said and done, our family is all we have in the end.  If you are not yet a Father, just wait, it is one of the greatest if not the greatest thing in the world.  :D

This installment is going to stay rather short because I have a lot of things on my mind concerning my road trip and I can’t really think straight to continue typing today.  That, and to be honest, I have already hit all the high points of this past week.  LOL  I would like to leave you with these final words though.

Nothing is impossible for a heart that is willing.

Until next time,
