Well, I have been doing some thinking. Last week I had officially announced that I was going to only take very selective bookings and phase myself out of wrestling starting January 1st of next year. Well, I have changed my mind!!!! I am no longer going to start phasing myself out in January. I am going to start phasing myself out a little sooner. In fact, the new date is now October 17th. The day after my last official booking, which by the way is in New York for MFW.
If you want to get technical, I have already started telling promoters no, so I am at this point only planning on finishing out the bookings that I am obligated to attend. It has been a great run and it was fun. Now it is quickly coming to an end.
Anyway, the new act is coming along quite nicely. I just recently got a Jeep Grand Cherokee to haul my magic act around. In fact, in order to get the Jeep I had to do something I haven’t done in almost a decade. I have a legitimate job. That’s right, I have a job. I am working for a car dealership detailing and delivering cars. Of course this job is only temporary until I pay off the Jeep in a couple of months. It works out nicely though because as we all know I love cars. :D
So lets see at this point I have been working my ass off to get a vehicle to haul my magic act around because God knows it won’t fit in my stealth. LOL I’ve been practicing every chance I get, the first round of props should be here around the middle of August, and starting very, very near future, there is going to be a lot of changes coming to my website.
I can’t wait to be honest with you. There is a lot of great changes being tossed around for the new site. The site is going to be better than it has ever been. I know I was great at wrestling, but just wait until you see me perform my magic act. It is going to blow anything I have ever done in wrestling right out of the water. This is it ladies and gentlemen. The is a dawning of a new era is upon us and it is going to be bigger and better than anything you have ever seen out of me.
To sum things up in the near future you can look forward to, my selective retirement, my new act once I start touring, and an all new website. Also, since first announcing that I was going to phase myself out of wrestling I have gotten a lot of emails. I want to stress yet again, I am not leaving the fans I am leaving wrestling. Once I start touring with my new Magic act the fans will still be able to come see me and be entertained by me, just on a different stage. In fact, this in many ways is a benefit in the fans favor. Now there will be a lot more interaction with me at shows and if you come to the magic act you have the chance of getting on stage with me.
For the fans that find my leaving the business as an insult, I am truly sorry. I have always loved and will always love the fans. You guys were and always will be the best part of show business.
