As many of you know I am originally from Punxsutawney, PA. Yesterday was the biggest day of the year in the little town that I call home. That’s right, yesterday was February 2nd, which is Groundhog Day. Now I personally think that Groundhog Day is kinda silly and after awhile I get tired of people asking me about it when I tell them where I am from, but it is something that you get used to after awhile. LOL
In all honesty, I think that it is fucking crazy that people will come to Punxsutawney from all over the world for something that only lasts about 20 minutes or so. Sure, there are some festivities going on throughout town after Phil comes out and predicts the weather, but most of those festivities are over by two in the afternoon. Hell, you would think that as much worldwide news coverage as Groundhog Day gets, it would be a much bigger deal. Then again, I’m not in charge, so I’m not worried about it.
As much as I don’t like Groundhog Day and as silly as I think it is, I must admit, I did go to the fabled Gobbler’s Knob once when I was still in high school. Then again, that can be blamed on Natasha, because it was her idea and me being the wonderful boyfriend that I was, I said what the hell why not. LOL Lets be honest about it, I was a teenager and I liked getting laid so I couldn’t exactly tell her no. LOL
Seriously though, I had fun this year for Groundhog Day, Jezabel loves the Groundhog Day festivities so we went out for a little bit. I guess you could say that I am starting to get into the whole Groundhog Day thing because of Jezabel. When she has fun so do I. Next week you will be able to see the pictures of Jezabel posing with the different groundhogs around town. She had a blast posing and I had a blast taking pictures of her. This past weekend I was in Phelps, New York for Ultimate Wrestling. I had a fucking blast and I am looking forward to going back for Ultimate Wrestling in April. There was about 150-200 people at the show and they were loud all fucking night long. It was a great crowd to be in front of. Unfortunately, I got screwed at the end of the match; however, I got the last laugh when I pulled Jezabel out of the bag!!!! All and all it was a great weekend.
Sunday Jezabel had her first wrestling tournament. Unfortunately, she lost both of her matches, but after all it was her first time. For her first couple matches she did pretty good all and all. He put up a good fight, they were just a little bit better. I must admit, she looked cute as hell in her little singlet. She had a great time and is excited to keep going. She ended up crying at the end of the day when she lost both times, but it will be ok she has a fighting spirit and she is determined to kick ass the next time.
I am extremely excited to make my trip to the WWE offices, I hope to hell that everything goes the way I would like them to go. I am ready for the big time and damn it, I deserve it. I have bled for this business and I will continue to bleed for this business, but facts are facts, nothing in life is handed to you. If I want this I have to make it happen, no one is going to make it happen for me, it is entirely up to me and me alone.
Throughout my life I have been my own worst enemy, but those days are over. I am going to take the wrestling world by storm and make damn sure that everyone in this country knows who The Snakeman Deven Michaels is. I have spent time dealing with the people that have tried to discourage me and tell me that I can’t do it. Now it is time to shove it in their faces that I can do it.
