August 11th

Well, after re-injuring my shoulder first thing Saturday morning I have done a lot of thinking.  I was planning on a selective retirement from wrestling, but I think I have changed my mind.  At this point I am going to honor as many bookings as what my shoulder will allow and then this is my last year wrestling.  If I do wrestle next year it will be for one promotion and one promotion only and that is Championship Wrestling ran by Dave Parsons and Jeff Poole in West Virginia.

On the flip side, I am going to extend the offer to wrestling promoters letting them know that I will continue to take bookings at wrestling shows as a magician.  I could do a show before the wrestling begins and during intermission.  It is entirely up to the promoters of course; however, I am extending the offer.

I officially have a torn rotator cuff.  The Doctor said that it isn’t bad enough to need surgery so that’s a big plus.  On the other hand though, it could take up to two months to be completely healed and back to 100%.  I hope to fuck it doesn’t take that long, but if it does such is life I guess.

I am very happy and proud to say that the first $3,000.00 has been spent on the magic show.  2k for the jeep to haul everything and the first 1k has been spent on props.  I am so excited that I can’t even express it.  LOL  From the way things look the entire start up budget is going to be around 10k.  I know that in the current economy that sounds like a lot, but that is in all honesty a small amount considering some props cost 10k just for one prop.  So, I am very happy with the way things are working out.

Other than working on the magic show there isn’t too much going on.  I have been having a lot of fun with Princess Jezabel out in the woods with the Jeep.  I wasn’t sure if she would like it or not, but she loves going off road.  Well let me rephrase that slightly, she enjoys driving on the trails and going through the woods and fields in places that a car could never go, she LOVES hitting the mud holes and watching the mud fly every where and getting the Jeep all nice and dirty.  LOL  I’m cool with that too because the mud is my favorite part too.  :D

I know that I bought the Jeep for work and I need it to haul props, but what’s the sense in having a jeep if I’m not going to play with it once in awhile.  I would be lying if I didn’t admit that I enjoy a fun 4x4 ride through the woods and the mud.  LOL

Other than that, there isn’t much going on.  Just working, practicing magic, and getting ready for the first big show.  I so can’t fucking wait to get everything that I need so that I can get started.  I am going to start advertising and taking bookings in the next couple of months.  Its going to be so awesome.  Hell, its going to be bigger and better than anything that I have ever done.  Stay tuned and keep your eyes out for when it becomes official so that you can be the first to book The Snakeman Deven Michaels for your party or any place else that you would like to have me give you your very own private magic show.

Until next time,
