April 14th
The weekend is finally over. Damn, I remember at one point in my life when the weekend wasn’t long enough, and this week I am thankful that it's over. LOL Well, I guess I shouldn’t say that I am glad that it's over because I did have a great fucking weekend, it just wore me out. I did 900 miles in a 24 hour time period and wrestled on 2 shows during that same time period. The wrestling was great, but damn 900 miles alone with no sleep fucking sucks. I guess I shouldn’t say no sleep, I did sleep in my car in front of the building for about two hours. LOL
I started out at 11:00am Saturday morning and headed to Geneva, NY for Ultimate Wrestling. I got there around 4:30 that evening. I had a short but fun little match. The whole match lasted 5 minutes, but it told a great little story. Unfortunately, I didn’t get a video of the match. Even though the match was fun the highlight of the night for me would have to be the boys in the back. Ultimate Wrestling has one of the best locker rooms that I have ever been in. Just a great atmosphere to work in.
I wish that I would have had time to hang out after the show, but I just couldn’t, at least not this time. There was a few people that I would have definitely enjoyed going to the after party with. I think that two of the most interesting people that I met would have to be Trip and Mirage. This is the second time that I met the two of them and I have to say that are a fucking riot to hang out with. Either way, there has been a link added to my links to Trips myspace so make sure you slither on over and check them out and show some love. Tell them that Deven sent ya. LOL
Continuing on with my weekend. I left Geneva at 9:00pm and headed down the road to Kingwood, WV. I don’t know how in the fuck I made it in all honesty. I pulled into Kingwood at 5:00am Sunday morning. At this point it had been about 24 hours with no sleep what so ever. I didn’t have to be at the building until 11:00am so I figured that I had time to get a little sleep. I find a hotel and I stand in front of the place ringing the buzzer for at least 20 minutes to which I got no answer what so ever. After driving all night I was just plain exhausted and all I wanted to do was get a little bit of sleep and not being able to get into the hotel just downright pissed me off.
After getting pissed at the hotel I decided to drive around until I found the building. I couldn’t find it, so I pulled into a tractor supply parking lot and tried to get some sleep. I managed to sleep from 6:00am until about 7:30am. After daylight hit a made a few calls and got directions to the building, where I managed to sneak another couple hours of sleep.
The show was a fucking blast, there was well over 300 people there and we raised on helluva chunk of money for the Preston County Volunteers. Other than Hacksaw Jim Duggan not being able to make it to the show the show went off without a hitch and was a great show. I am looking forward to the next time that I am standing in the middle of an Allstar Championship Wrestling ring. Jeff and Dave are two of the best fucking promoters out there, when they put on a show they do it right!!!!!
Speaking of fun shows. Rated R Wrestling is debuting with its first and possibly only show on Thursday night. There isn’t much more that I can say, because I have pretty much said it all. Everything is in place and lined up for a night off action packed ass kicking entertainment!!!! So make damn sure you bring a friend to the wildest night that Parkersburg, WV will ever fucking see!!!!! Again, show info; The Inferno 520 7th Street Parkersburg, WV, doors open at 7:00pm, band at 8:00pm, and bell time is 9:00pm!!!
I have an extra little surprise for everyone. Sometime within the next week or two I am going to have a bunch of pictures from when I was growing up and before wrestling. The pictures are all scanned and on the computer, I just need to take the time to caption all of them and tell you the stories from my past that I can remember. I hope that when I get everything typed up that you will all enjoy looking at them and reading the stories as much as I enjoyed looking back through them and remembering the stories. I am also trying to find more pictures that will be added as I find them. None the less that is what is going on in my world. I hope to see you all Thursday.
